  Beware: This cemetery closes for vacation but death does not so if you die during their vacation you will have to wait for the extended and enjoyable vacation to end while you grieve your love one. Yes, the plot is paid for so you are held hostage prolonging burial. This is a shame before God. Perhaps, working in this industry has turned their hearts stone cold without any compassion. Blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted.

  While in town visiting my family we decided to visit our deceased family at Oakdale Cemetery. I only wish our family was in a better location. This cemetery is very hard to find because its located behind another main Cemetery.
  
  Therefore, your GPS will have a time trying to locate it. The grounds could be kept up much better. There were a lot of dead grass and wild weeds throughout the grounds.
  
  The display markings on the section are out of sequence, which makes it difficult to locate your loved ones plot. Considering we have at least 12-14 loves ones here we were only able to visit 4 because of the confusion.
  
  Oakdale Cemetery should consider adding a website and having an annual fundraiser to raise funds for ground maintenance. I'm sure family members would contribute monthly or annually for such a worthy cause.
