  The headquarters of a religious country club. The LCMS fired it's two best exponents of orthodox Christianity: Todd Wilken & Jeff Schwartz. They also closed the Issues Etc. Program under dubious pretexts and diverted the bequests intended for IE to their KFUO classical music station. That is called theft. There has been no attempt to restore Issues Etc. as an official LCMS program. Instead we have an institution that excuses sin under the pretext of being "loving".
  Much of the administration at this headquarters is carried out by unbelievers. Yup, most of the people working here are not Christian. This is because of equal opportunity hiring laws. You can't discriminate on the basis of religious beliefs. When I lived in St. Louis, I met people who worked at the "Purple Palace" and they said they were not Christian.
  The main problem with the LCMS, as with all U.S. churches, is this just don't have the courage to be counter-cultural.

  The LCMS leadership and Harrison administration are far right wing Christian fundamentalists who shame women, hate gays, and think Jews and Muslims deserve the pits of hell due a few religious differences. It's a boardline hate group that excels at hypocrisy. Their blatant hatred for science and reason does these ppl no good and only helps continue their sad and unfortunate way of life. Lets hope Harrison and his crew get their act togther, or at least admit their faults to the poor to whom meant so much to their own Lord and Savior--Jesus.
