From a woman's perspective:
The only thing bigger than the Journey church is perhaps Pastor Jeremy's ego.
I had a run-in with church staff, and it boiled down to their way or the highway. No other arguments were weighed fairly.
My best friend is gay, and won't attend service with me because he feels out of place and discriminated by this church. These are some of the reasons why I chose a different church that was more loving.Added May 30, 2017 by Lisa Johnson - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
The Journey is a dynamic, exciting place to worship God. When I attend The Journey I am reminded of how small I am and how big God is in Avery loving and welcoming way. God is good and He is at work at The Journey. Come see for yourself!

I started visiting the Journey about two months ago and it immediately drew me in. The service was uplifting, the songs were joyful, and the sermon was soul touching. I plan to officially join the journey soon.
They have a section reserved in the back for expecting mothers and families with children. They also have a family lounge where you can go with your children. In the family lounge there are toys for children and a live stream of the service for the parents.
Please stop by if God is putting it in your heart. You won't be disappointed.Added November 24, 2016 by Ebony Navarrete - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I have been visiting The Journey with my wife for a few months now, and we have been enjoying services here thus far. Even though it's a big church, the church leaders do everything they can to make everyone fell welcome and included. Most importantly the sermons are very inspirational. I truly feel the leaders here are led by the Spirit. I highly recommend this church to anyone, especially to my brothers and sisters in Christ.

I attended Journey for a good while. I found myself straying farther and farther from this church due in part to Pastor Jeremy. Jeremy and Darrin all live/lived in preppy suburbs out west versus truly integrating with the immediately local mixed population.
Rather than spend on the needy, the Journey spends a TON on expansion and new pastor salaries.
Women aren't viewed as equal, which is wrong.
Finally some of the beliefs here are wonky. When you challenge anything, they just say "this is what the bible says". More like your view.. You can translate things based on your own agenda to the detriment of believers.
Also, please always stop asking for more money when the needy don't see 100% of this directly. Likely not even 50%..Added August 24, 2016 by Liam Cage
