Hallowed Ground!!!!!
Those protesting our confederate soldiers do not honor our history. How would they like to go back to the Seperate but equal days????Added June 10, 2017 by Dave Jenn - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Absolutely beautiful. It is, first and foremost, still an active military cemetery. It's also a historic site. When you come down the road and catch the first glimpse of all the headstones stretching off into the distance, you really start to feel the enormity of the sacrifice of these men and women. I was fortunate to be in the Civil War section as the sun came up on a beautiful June day...seeing the stones and the river lit up was lovely.
